Founded in 1918, Otis College of Art and Design prepares diverse students of art and design to enrich our world through their creativity, their skill, and their vision. The College offers an interdisciplinary education for 1200 full-time students, awarding BFA degrees in advertising, architecture/landscape/interiors, digital media, fashion design, graphic design, illustration, product design, painting, photography, sculpture/new genres, and toy design; and MFA degrees in fine arts, graphic design, public practice, and writing. Otis champions diverse and authentic voices, and its graduates shape the cultural landscape, fuel the creative economy, and spark experimentation and innovation. For the community, Continuing Education offers certificate programs as well as personal and professional development courses and K-12 programs. The G2 Gallery is an award winning nature and wildlife photography gallery that facilitates change by bringing attention to environmental issues through the power of photographic art. G2 shares this passion with both celebrated and emerging environmental photographers, who use the camera as a tool to inspire conservation.
Supporting art and the environment by showcasing the world’s most celebrated nature and wildlife photographers and donating the proceeds to environmental charities.
Since opening our doors in March 2008, the G2 Gallery has been committed to promoting the appreciation and conservation of our natural environment through photography and other art forms. G2 presents an illuminating range of exhibits that showcase nature and wildlife photography by artists who inform, inspire and generate greater awareness of the environmental issues we face.
The G2 Gallery is pleased to also offer an array of informative lectures, evenings of live music and documentary film screenings. The gallery hosts fundraising events in partnership with local conservation and educational organizations. As an Eco-Conscience Gallery, we believe in products and services that aid the environment and we are proud to donate all art proceeds to a variety of environmental charities.
