Committee Meetings

The LAX Coastal Chamber offers several subject-specific committees, which function as educational/developmental focus groups and networking opportunities. These committees serve a wide and diverse range of the local business community, and it is through committee work that the Chamber’s mission is fulfilled and members are served.

The Education Committee works with area schools to support quality education programs. They encourage local businesses to assume an active role in sponsoring education programs. This committee meets every month except between June to August.

The Health and Wellness Forum is a monthly meeting in which our primary health care members offer advice and perspective on different ways to provide preventive health care practices for our highly active business owners in the LAX Coastal Area. This forum also offers an opportunity to meet and network with local representatives from Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai, Marina del Rey Hospital, and Providence Health Care.

LifeStyle is a womens’ forum designed to promote relationships, economic empowerment, business exposure and fun to business owners and entrepreneurs in the LAX Coastal area.

The Marina Affairs Committee reviews issues related to Marina del Rey development, business and growth, and works closely with the Department of Beaches and Harbors.

The Public Policy Committee comes together to discuss policy decisions on a local, county, state and federal level. Attend the meeting to have your voice heard throughout the City of Los Angeles and take a stance on some of today’s most controversial issues.
