Beginning in the year 2000 as a celebration for the new century, the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce (then known as the Westchester/LAX Chamber of Commerce) sponsored the first ever Fourth of July Parade in Westchester.
Today, while still traveling down Loyola Boulevard as in years past, the LAX Coastal Fourth of July Parade has grown to more than 50 entries and 8,000 spectators. Each year a new theme is chosen to help celebrate America’s birthday, with local businesses and nonprofits gathering together to create award winning floats to entertain the masses.
We hope to see you at this year’s parade on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 as we celebrate “Cities Across America” starting at 11am. Each entry in this year’s parade will represent a different American city to display national pride. The current cities represented are:
- Los Angeles
- New Orleans
- Atlantic City
Sponsorships and participants welcome!
