A Week in Paradise

Welcome back to LAX Coastal Comments! We’ve wrapped up another fantastic week here in our Paradise of networking, room rentals, and new memberships, and we have even hosted our annual Protectors’ Luncheon. For the 21st consecutive year, we are honored to organize this event, which is just a small token of the gratitude we feel for our protective agencies. To see the event for yourself, please visit the LAX Coastal Chamber’s new Flickr account for an entire album of photos from our talented chamber member, Glenn Marzano Photography. Be sure to click “follow” while you’re there, as we will be updating this account with all of the amazing photographs from all of our amazing events!

Speaking of momentous events, have you checked out our April calendar yet? The LAX Coastal Chamber is not only a promotional tool (or simply an all-around fantastic organization), we are also a resource for our community, here to provide you with relevant connections and information. From community service events to educational workshops, many of our members have already taken advantage of what we have to offer, and we hope you will join us as well (or already have!).

Capturing Your Audience w/ Marcus Kowal

April 7 @ 11:45AM-1PM

LAX Coastal Chamber Office

Nothing makes up happier than a desire to engage with the community from our members, and Marcus Kowal of Systems Training Center is definitely one of the members looking to connect. Currently the Owner of Systems Training Center, which boasts three locations, Marcus’ accolades include a Black Belt in Kickboxing and Krav Maga, a small business owner, entrepreneur, and all around positive person. Marcus is the epitome of personable and a fantastic instructor (as two of your LAX Coastal staff members can attest!) who understands the challenges of operating a small business and has learned to do it successfully. Join us on April 7 for an interactive workshop with Marcus as he teaches you how to better “instruct” by simplifying your message and commanding attention.

Turning Leads into Paying Customers w/ Natalie Gouché

April 13 @ 5:30-7:00 PM

LAX Coastal Chamber Office

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Natalie Gouché through a room rental at LAX Coworking. A Los Angeles based social media coach, Natalie has a loyal following because she practices what she preaches. Natalie nurtures her followers and provides them with step-by-step coaching to successfully use the complex platform that is social media to help their business. One rainy day (possibly the only rainy day in Los Angeles), Natalie was able to draw a huge crowd to the Chamber office and provided her audience with applicable tips on better using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and now she is coming back to do it again! Join us on April 13 to learn how to turn leads into paying customers.
