Often described as Oscar Night for the education community, this event is a dinner gala for recognizing outstanding teachers from our local schools. The Teacher Eddy Awards are presented in partnership with the LAX Coastal Education Foundation.

This event is the installation of our new Chair, Officers and Board of Directors, as well as the announcement of the coming year’s Honorary Mayor, a celebration of Chamber leadership with the presentation of special awards and the graduation of this year’s Leadership Academy class.

Fourth of July Parade

Our Independence Day parade that travels down Loyola Boulevard with over 50 local entries. The parade program is distributed to our local business community, as well as 5,000 community members of the LAX Coastal area via the HomeTown News.
