The LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 2019 LAX Coastal Magazine & Business Guide. As a supporting member of the LAX Coastal community, proudly representing businesses from the airport to the sea and beyond, the Chamber works hard to build better relationships between business, government, and residents. They are always striving to fulfill their mission of elevating the local business climate, using their more than 66 years of experience to be the best business resource in the region—and in that endeavor, publish the LAX Coastal Magazine each year to inform, educate, and promote their 550+ members to the surrounding communities.
This year’s cover story, Location, Location, Location: From Local Real Estate to Industry Trends in the Golden State, highlights the dynamic real estate industry. Featuring statistics from state-wide studies, insights from local power brokers (and proud LAX Coastal Chamber members!), and an in-depth analysis of fluctuating trends, this feature provides a realistically positive outlook to the LAX Coastal real estate market. Special thank you to our contributing cover story writer (and LAX Coworking member), Louis Burklow.
Readers of the LAX Coastal Magazine can treat themselves to gorgeous bluff views and an inside look into local listings with cover story photography by Mike Harriel of Mike Harriel Photography.
The magazine also highlights additional community advancements, with articles discussing the successes of the LAX Coastal Education Foundation, completed mini murals around the community on behalf of the Westchester/Playa Arts Committee, commercial burglary prevention tips from the LAPD Pacific Division, a history of the LAX Coastal Fourth of July Parade as it celebrates its 20th year, and more.
With a physical distribution of over 16,000, the LAX Coastal Magazine & Business Guide is an annual publication that not only includes relevant stories to keep readers up-to-date on what is happening in the area, it also highlights local businesses and features the Chamber’s directory of 550+ members. With member spotlights on the first page of each industry section, the Chamber gives a brief introduction to some of the many deserving members that are working to support the community, all while advocating for the “Shop Local” movement. Every community is only as strong as the network of individuals working within it, and the LAX Coastal Chamber is proud to be part of a community with such high levels of engagement.
Just like the community, the success of the LAX Coastal Magazine would not be possible without the support of its proud members and advertisers. This magazine does not just belong to the Chamber, but to the community as a whole, and LAX Coastal Chamber leadership and staff would like to say, “Thank you!”
