On Friday, June 10, the LAX Coastal Chamber headed to the top floor of the picturesque Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel to celebrate a very special occasion: our annual Installation Dinner Gala. Not only is this event our way of ending yet another successful year, it is also truly an evening of celebration; our community came together to laissez les bon temps rouler* as we thanked outgoing Chair Kristen Lonner of Burns & Bouchard, Honorary Mayor Keith Greville of Arup, and their 2015-16 Board of Directors, as well as welcome incoming Chair Charles Bassett of L&R Group of Companies, Honorary Mayor Ryan Gales of Jenkins, Gales & Martinez, and the 2016-17 Board of Directors. We also congratulated our graduating Leadership Academy class, presented 11 special awards to the individuals making a difference within our Chamber and community, welcomed special guests such as Los Angeles World Airport’s CEO Deborah Flint and Councilmember Mike Bonin, featured a live and silent auction of wonderful prizes from proud Chamber members, listened to a live Jazz band, and, as always, had a great time.
As your local chamber, we would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You!” to the LAX Coastal community for allowing us to serve such an amazing neighborhood, full of amazing businesses and even more impressive individuals. And to our 2016-17 LAX Coastal Leadership, we cannot wait to reach new levels of success with you at our helm.
